Fechin Study (Greyscale and Color Overlay)

Wanted to do some crazy brushwork with my 2026 brush pack, and it had been a minute since I did a Master Study, so here's a Nicolai Fechin study of his piece 'Lady in Lilac' from 1908!

I did the main painting (literally all of it) in black and white to nail down texture, then just used a single Color Overlay layer on top to add the (messy) color with a soft round brush.

I prefer the greyscale lol
