Ode To Assassins

I've always loved the work of the Assassin's Creed artists, as my 3 hard-bound "The Art Of" Assassin's Creed books will attest to! I wanted to push myself in regards to size (the full piece is 20 inches x 10 inches at 300 dpi for canvas printing), lighting structure (studied a lot of James Gurney, Raphael Lacoste and Darek Zabrocki for this one), and brushwork (Wadim Kashin and Greg Rutkowski).

Also, a HUGE thank you to the incredible team over at KADArt-Cosplay (alongside Rick Boer and The Companion Photography), as their piece "Assassins Creed - Following A Legacy" was my photo reference for this one (with permission).
